FAQ
-
Do I need to be fit to start?
No. All sessions are adapted to your level — whether you’re a complete beginner or already active. My job is to meet you where you’re at and build from there.
-
I've had injuries in the past. Can I still train with you?
Yes. My approach supports joint health, mobility, and long-term resilience. We’ll adapt everything to your needs and pace.
-
What happens during free session
We’ll talk about your goals, training history, lifestyle, and what you’re looking for. It’s informal, no-pressure, and there’s no physical testing unless you request it.
-
Where do the sessions take place?
I coach from a private studio inside The Barefoot Physio Clinic in the heart of Exeter. It’s a calm, welcoming space with quality equipment and a focus on individual attention.
-
Do you only offer one-to-one training?
One-to-one is the main focus, but I also offer online coaching, movement workshops, and community events through The Movement Club. These give you flexibility depending on what kind of support you want.
-
How much does personal training in Exeter cost?
Pricing depends on whether you book single sessions or a block. My rates reflect years of experience and a highly tailored approach. You’ll find details on the Pricing page, and I’m always happy to talk through options.
-
Am I too old to start training?
Not at all. My training is suitable for every age group and ability level—from complete beginners to advanced. I work with people of all ages, all the way up to 70+, and adapt every exercise to the person in front of me.
With my background in gymnastics, strength training, and years of experience coaching, I can create a personalized progression that helps you start at the right level and build steadily over time.
